II. Separate data protection notice for the see4service-app
We would like to advise you that there is a separate data protection notice for our “see4service”-app. You can access this notice prior to downloading the app in the Apple App Store or in the Google Play Store or from the App after downloading. We recommend reading the data protection notice before downloading the app.

III. Data collection when using our website for informational use
We take protecting your personal data seriously and want you to know how and why we use your data. We only use your data within the statutory scope and with your consent. Personal data is information on a person's private or material conditions, i.e. information and data that can be assigned to a person e.g. name, address, telephone number, email address, IP address, device identification.
Visiting our website is possible in all cases without the provision of personal data. However, for technical reasons, your IP address is automatically saved when you visit our website. The last 3 digits of your IP address are anonymized, in order to prevent traceability (IP masking).

We only save access data with no personal connection, such as: the name of your Internet service provider, date and time of the request, content of the request (specific site), access status/HTTP status code, the volume of data transmitted, website from which the request came, Browser, operating system and interface, language and version of the browser software (“log files”). This anonymous data is analysed purely so we are able to improve our products. It does not allow any trace to be made to your personal identification.

IV. Data collection when using our web shop and our contact form
If you wish to purchase a licence for our see4service software via our web shop, you will be prompted to set up a user account whilst ordering and to enter the data necessary to process your order (company, name, company address, email address, password). Email address and password serve as access data for your customer account.

When you click on the button “configure app” to set up a company profile, you will be prompted to enter the information that should be listed in the service recipient app “see4service”. (Please see the information related to this in our general terms and conditions of trade). These are company name, contact person, company address and telephone number. Furthermore, a short description of your company and the service provided can be entered and a photo/logo can be uploaded. In addition, you will be prompted to define the access data (email address and password) for access to the software purchased. We recommend defining different passwords for the web shop and the software. Our website works with password encryption so we have no access to customers’ passwords.
Your personal data (inventory data) entered in the scope of the purchase order and whilst creating your company profile, in addition to your usage data, i.e. information that arises from the interaction between yourself and our website (e.g. details about the beginning and end of the session on the website, details about licences purchased etc.) will solely be processed and used in accordance with the German data-protection regulations, in particular those set out in the German Federal Data Protection Act and the German Telemedia Act.

We will only collect and process your inventory data to the extent required for the conclusion, content and structure or modification of our agreement with you, or in so far as this is otherwise legally allowed or required.

We use SSL encryption to make payment with credit card as secure as possible. The credit card information that you enter is transmitted to us encrypted: the card type (MasterCard or Visa), the card holder’s name, the card number, the three digit Card Security Code on the back of your card and the expiry date. Your credit card will be charged via a “skrill” payment form. Skrill fulfils the PCI security standard, enabling you to make secure online payments.

If you send us a message via the contact form on our website, we will save the details entered for the purpose of replying to your message.

V. Use of Cookies
Cookies are files that contain certain information (e.g. the time of your server request, the operating system used, the type of browser, the websites previously visited and the IP address) and are saved on the user’s computer when an Internet site is visited. If you then call up the relevant server again, your browser will send the cookie previously saved, back to that server.
During your visit to our Internet pages, we used so-called Session-Cookies, which are deleted immediately when the browser is closed. The purpose of these cookies is to enable or facilitate certain functions of our website (e.g. the shopping basket). In addition, we employ cookies that retain their utility after the session has ended (trans-session cookies). These cookies, in particular, are intended to make our service safer, more effective and more user-friendly.

It is possible to set up your browser in such a manner that cookies are not stored on your computer; it is also possible to delete cookies previously saved. If your browser does not accept cookies, it is quite possible that certain areas of our website cannot be used to their full extent.

VI. Web tracking
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics also uses cookies, which are files saved on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) is sent to a Google Server in Europe or in another country within the European Economic Area for IP anonymization, so that the user data cannot be followed back to the user. Only once IP anonymized is the shortened IP address transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to and shortened by Google servers in the USA. On behalf of the website provider, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating the use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and Internet usage to the website provider. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. You may also prevent the data generated by the cookie relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) being collected as well as the collection and use of the generated data by Google, by following this link to download and install the browser plug-in which deactivates Google Analytics:

VII. Use of data for advertising purposes
We use your data as legally permitted, to recommend products or services that could be of interest to you or to inform you regarding marketing campaigns.

Should you have registered for our newsletter, we are entitled to use your email address for this purpose until you cancel the newsletter or withdraw your consent to your data being used for advertising purposes. The newsletter can be cancelled at any time by following the “unsubscribe” link in the email or by sending an email to

For the dispatch of the newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure, i.e. we first send you an email and ask you to confirm that you want to receive our newsletter by clicking on the relevant links. In ordering the newsletter, you agree to us sending you a mail with a confirmation link as part of the double opt-in procedure.

VIII. Informing, Amending, Deletion of data
You have the right to ask for information about the data we have stored about yourself at any time as well as a right to the correction or deletion of the data we have saved. If such deletion is not possible due to statutory retention requirements, the data shall be blocked.
